Progressive Space-Opera Rock

Lobate Scarp's twist on Progressive Rock music will take you on a unique musical journey. Their music has given delight to fans of Yes, Rush, Queen, 80’s pop, and musical theater alike.

Their debut album Time and Space is an AOR rock-opera complete with Trumpets, Saxophone, Viola, Violin, Cello, Theremin, Glockenspiel, and a 30+ person choir singing in Latin. Alex Acuña (Weather Report) appears as a special guest percussionist in the opening 15-minute track and Rich Mouser (Spock’s Beard, Transatlantic, Neal Morse) mixed and mastered the album. Steve Leavitt produced and engineered.  It was made possible in 2012 by a successful Kickstarter campaign and has since received accolades from all over the world, played on radio shows, podcasts, as well as had reviews published in numerous music publications. Progarchy.com called it "One of the top 13 albums of 2013!"

Their newest single  “Nothing Wrong” was released on August 15th. The track was once again produced and engineered by Steven Leavitt at I Create Sound, and co-produced, partially recorded, and mixed once again by Rich Mouser.
